With over a decade of experience as a published author, creative visual storyteller, and art facilitator, Yannis boasts a diverse portfolio as a filmmaker, photographer, podcaster, and producer, offering a unique perspective on immigration, diaspora, and motherhood. Her excellent work ethic and passion for her craft have earned her numerous accolades, including being twice awarded the Toronto Arts Foundation's Space award for 2020-2022 and recognition from the Toronto Arts Council (2017, 2019) and Ontario Arts Council (2021).
